In accordance with its main goals, MADD continues to bring awareness to the prevention of drunk driving and the reduction of the number of victims affected by drunk driving.
Changes
MADD has made many changes since its founding in 1980 including advocating for impaired driving, advancing victim services, and diminishing underage drinking.
One of the greatest accomplishments that MADD has made includes the passing of the National Minimum Drinking Age Act which was passed on July 17, 1984.
