- Would you consider MADD a single-issue interest group? no
- What do you feel was the greatest accomplishment influenced by MADD? saving over 300,000 lives
- Do you believe ignition interlocks should be in all cars or just in certain individual's cars? Why? Anyone who is arrested for drunk driving should have an interlock for one year.
- Were/are there people who opposed MADD and it's efforts? Do you know why they oppose it? Many, many men opposed it, especially what one would call “the good ol’ boys”. And yes, there are still those who oppose MADD or any effort to curb alcohol consumption.
- At what point would you think MADD has completed its job? Will that ever happen? As long as there is alcohol, there will always be deaths and injuries caused by drunk drivers.
- How do you think MADD's mission has changed over the years? Its main mission is to reduce fatalities and injuries caused by drunk drivers. MADD also focuses on preventing underage drinking.
- Do you think MADD is as successful today as it was when it was founded? No, I do not think MADD is as effective as it was during the first ten years of its existence.
- How do you feel MADD's fundraising has benefited or hurt the focus on its goals? Their fund raising was in question quite some time back, and I believe the problems have been remedied.
